Siobhán Timoney Designer Hats

Siobhán is an artist and maker, who loves making and wearing hats.  Each of the hats she makes is different in some way, either in style or added details of vintage buckles,  buttons or brooches.

 

Timoney Design is the brand name for these designs and can be followed on instagram and Facebook. The hats featured on this site are examples and are all sold so for up to date stock check Instagram. Every hat is unique and not repeated.

 

Siobhán likes to experiment and  so each hat has its own character. Inspiration comes from Sculptural form and nature. Good quality materials are important: mostly 100% hand woven woollen tweeds are used.

 

All hats are one-off designs so you won't meet yourself walking down the street. Here are a selection of some of the various designs. They are made from a variation of materials ( Irish, Scottish & Cotwolds tweeds are a favourite).  All hats are fully lined with coloured linings to suit the individual hat.

U.K. such as Pearl&Hemingway, Whitstable and Creek Creative, Faversham to name two.   Siobhán has attended various Events such as  'the  festival of Crafts at Farnham Maltings in Surrey. 

'Mid Winter- Market' weekend event  at the Tithe Barn Lenham, Kent.  A number of local Christmas fairs in Faversham & Canterbury.  There will be  a large selection of hats for the Autumn/ Winter season 2021 to choose from available from a number of outlets as well as fairs later in the year...

A Handmade Midwinter Market this year is a bit earlier and the dates are September weekend 10th - 12th.
